Here are the pictures from today. The first couple are before our embassy appt (taken at 6:30am) Then some by the pool and the first taste of baby food from a jar. (messy but fun!!) And then trying to hold Samuel the way the foster mom did (but I had trouble with figuring out- Ruth can you help me??)

You're doing great!! We are enjoying your pictures. Try not to worry about the "sleeping in you bed" thing now. He feels safe and secure between both of you. He is learning your unique smells and listening to your breathe and your hearts beats. Just try to think of it as another bonding opportunity for all of you. When you get back home and more settled, the transition to the crib will hopefully be easier. God bless all of you!

I've been keeping track of you all here on your blog. I'm so excited & happy for you all that Samuel is finally in your arms forever!! It is such a long long road, but very much worth it!! He is a beautiful child. He will be so loved. You have all been on my mind constantly since Saturday. In the photos from yesterday you all looked happy but so tired. Today you are all beaming. He will adjust to his new home and his own bed, no worries.
